Life lately

Well life lately has been a little hectic! The girls want to be held all the time or they are crying :(. They love their bed and love to sleep, but when they are awake they just want to be held! We have tried swings, setting them on their tummies with toys, bouncers, everything!!! And I even let them cry it out..but the problem is they will cry it out forever..I'm talking an hour or longer! They just want to be held! With Landon that wasn't a problem because he was only one, but when you have two..its rather difficult! I wouldn't get anything done around the house or any time with Landon if I held them all the time. They are cute as a button and I love them to death, but am in a little bit of a pickle! I am trying to be optimistic and hopefully this stage will pass soon and they will start liking the swing or bouncy?! We are headed to the lake this weekend for fourth of July so that will be tons of fun! I will have lots of pictures I'm sure ;) ! Oh, we finally sold Luke's car and will be getting a van hopefully sometime this week to drive down to the lake in so we are not so so so crammed and can actually fit stuff in there to take! Ok well happy fourth everyone!

Great Weekend!

We all had a great weekend here at the Yandell household. Luke played in his golf tournament this weekend and did pretty well. He didn't win anything but he did good for not playing in a few weeks. We took the whole brood to Coyote Blues for dinner on Saturday night. It is so good! We get the queso dip and chips and share the fajitas! They give such big portions there that it is very easy to share..and Luke eats alot too, and we can still share ;0). Luke had a great father's day and we hung out at Luke's grandparents house. Luke watched the girls over there while me and little man went to see Toy Story 3 ! Oh it was so good..and even a little sad in parts...and I am not one to get emotional over a movie (except for the Notebook! ). I will post pics soon..i'm just waiting to get some pics from this weekend for Luke's birthday :)

Man! I am really really bad at this!!

hello! Not sure that anyone actually reads this...but if you do, I'm really bad at this whole blogging thing!! I love to read other people's blogs, but I feel like I have no time to write my own! lol. The girls.. Olivia and Mckenna are doing awesome! They are now 6 weeks old and are growing so fast! Mckenna weighs 9 pounds even and Livi weighs 8.2. Landon is also handling being a big brother very well ! He wants to hold them alot..and even has tried to pick them up on his own, which would be fine if he didn't pick them up like rag dolls !!! haha Livi slept through the night last night!!! Yes! I forgot what real sleep felt like! And Mckenna only woke up once!

Luke got a new job about 3 months ago! He is a driver for US Foods! It is an awesome job and they have so many great benefits! He has to go in very early, but gets off early afternoon so he still has a full afternoon usually at home with us or to play golf !! Landon's birthday is coming up next month and we are going to get him a golf set! He has one club that his Paw Paw gave him so he could play with his Daddy. He loves it and is actually very good for being only 3 ! Hello future golf pro !

Father's Day is this Sunday, so I have to be on the lookout for something good, since he is a daddy to three little peanuts now!! He has a golf tournament Saturday and Sunday, so hopefully he will do great and have a great Father's DAy!!! :)

Ok i will try to do better with this thing!! I said that last time too, but I need to keep up with it for the kids so i can remember what is all going on with them!! :)

twins!

Hey guys! Sorry i haven't posted in a while :( been super super busy. Well we are having twins! YES! we are very excited! they are identical twin girls and their names are going to be Mckenna Grace and Olivia Elizabeth. The latest they will let me go is 38 weeks so we should be expecting these babies around May ! Me and Luke and even Landon are extremely overjoyed that we are going to be blessed with two girls ! Yay!

6 WEEKS!

So today I am 6 weeks pregnant! I am so excited..it's going by fast! I will probably start saying the opposite the further along I get! We still have yet to come up with a girl name..although I am stuck on the name Elizabeth. Luke doesn't particularly like it, but I think if I just keep calling it Elizabeth he will come around! haha ... I am not posting any pics of my belly until I get a little further along and you can tell...although the way I have been feeling it might be soon! Man my jeans are already getting a little snug and I feel like my belly is already popping a little bit..but I think its just being bloated mixed with my already there belly fat !! HAHA! I have been feeling nauteous everyday, but nothing too bad. I had my first bout of vomiting the other night after trying a few bites of Mcdonald's, serves me right I shouldn't have ate that junk anyway (it's just so cheap and Landon loves it.) Tonight we are having bible study with my inlaws at our house and I am making spaghetti so that will be fun! :) Sorry no pics this time.. I'm working on it!

Boy's Name!

So we figured out a boy's name! I know it is kind of soon...and don't know the gender yet, but we have been talking about names since we started trying for baby # 2. The name is going to be...
Jackson Connor Yandell .... what do you think? We will call him "Jack." I have always loved that name and even wanted to name Landon that, but Luke liked the name Landon. I am very fond of traditional names and would like a traditional girl name too, but we can't seem to agree on any? I think its okay though since we still have eight months to go ;) ....
